Under the PDPA, we process personal data on one or more of the following bases:
- Consent — where you have provided it, for example when subscribing to communications (which you may withdraw at any time);
- Contractual necessity — to perform or take steps prior to entering into a contract with you or your organisation; and

4. Disclosure of personal data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We may disclose personal data to:
- Service providers and sub-processors who process data on our behalf (for example, hosting, analytics, cloud infrastructure and support providers), under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing obligations;

Where any person processes personal data on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to ensure they protect it to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law.
5. Cross-border transfers
In the course of providing our services, personal data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside Malaysia where our or our service providers' infrastructure is located. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers comply with the PDPA and that the data continues to receive an adequate level of protection, including through appropriate contractual safeguards.
6. Data security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. These include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, security monitoring and periodic reviews of our practices. Our security posture is aligned with our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security management system. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to meet our contractual and legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. When personal data is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it securely.
